Ten years ago, Alice Tang and Will Liang were asked to lead a global Salesforce implementation for 1,200 investment bankers. The lesson has shaped Amplify AI Group ever since:

Data, technology & AI · 18 years at Australia's leading firms

Eighteen years at the sharp end of Australian finance. Will joined Macquarie out of university and rose to CIO of Macquarie Capital Australia — then led KPMG's national RegTech practice of 50 data engineers, and the data, technology and AI transformation at MA Asset Management. He has built what most consultants only recommend.

He is also one of the few technologists who can hold a boardroom: a LinkedIn Top Voice for AI and Data Science, recognised globally as a leading CIO and CTO, and named the most influential Asian-Australian under 40 in corporates.

Twenty-five years where investment, operations, risk and audit meet — at Macquarie Group, MA Financial and Deloitte. Alice knows how financial services firms actually run, because she ran them.

As COO of MA Asset Management, she led 55 people through the firm tripling its assets under management — two new asset classes, new operations in New York, Hong Kong and Singapore — and has served as executive director on trustee and fund boards overseeing $9bn.

Named Digital Transformation Leader of the Year 2025, and awarded Highly Commended as Financial Newswire’s Tech Innovator of the Year in June 2026.
